The Christakis emergency refuge is located at "Megali Gourna" at an altitude of 2,550 meters. It serves as a base for accessing Mytikas, the highest peak of Mount Olympus, as well as other peaks such as Agios Antonios and Skolio.

The Christakis Shelter is equipped with 16 beds, a wireless communication system, a fireplace, a table, and chairs for visitors.

It is accessible by road from the village of Kalyvia in Elassona, approximately one hour away by 4x4 vehicle.

Here, visitors can admire the natural alpine landscapes, the wild nature, and the rich fauna of Mount Olympus.
